Waste Reduction and Recycling Delegations under the Waste Reduction and Recycling Regulation
2011

Updated Powers

The following powers have been updated to the delegation in line with changes to the LGAQ Delegations
Register.
Section 7(b) Power, where Council has, by resolution, designated areas to conduct general waste or
green waste collection, to decide the frequency of general waste or green waste collection in designated
areas.


Workers Compensation Delegation under Work Health and Safety Act 2011
(as confirmed by (People and Culture Manager and Director Executive Services)

New Powers

The following powers have been added to the delegation in line with changes to the LGAQ Delegations
Register and confirmation from the Director of Executive Services and People and Culture Manager.

Section 142(4) Power to apply to the Commission for it to deal with the dispute.


Updated Powers

The following powers have been updated to the delegation in line with changes to the LGAQ Delegations
Register.

Section 141 Power to ask the regulator to appoint an inspector to attend the workplace to assist in
resolving the dispute.
