5.2 Community survey – current living arrangements
Following on from the demographic questions, the survey asked a series of
questions in relation to the living arrangements and lived experiences of
respondents during the current housing crisis.

Question 3: What is your current living arrangement?

Of the 667 people who took part in the survey, 664 provided a response to this
question.

For the third question, survey participants asked to describe their current living   2.5%
arrangements from one of the following five options:                                                            I rent

           •   I rent (128)                                                                                     I own my own place
           •   I own my own place (462)                                                                         I rent with others

           •   I live with family (49)
           •   Other (please specify) (28)                                                                      Other (please specify)

Findings
                                                                                                67.5%
67.5% responded that they owned a property, while 21.7% rented alone or
with others.

Out of the 462 people who identified as homeowners, 96.3% were also Noosa
Shire residents.
