Following Council's RFI Lindsay Consulting Pty has re-designed the jetty so that the
land anchor is not required. Attached are the revised drawings (revision B) for the
proposed works.

In relation to the requirement for the provision of handrails to the jetty and gangway in
accordance with AS 4997 - 2005, clause 3.4.4 Lindsay Consulting Pty Ltd is of the
opinion that a handrail is not required because of and not limited to:-

    •    The proposed works is less than 1500 mm above the water level to the canal,
    •    The water surface is a soft surface as opposed to a hard surface as required by
         the code
