Located on the western side of Butler Street, the site abuts an area of forest vegetation on the northern part
of the Tewantin Cemetery Lot, which in turn is continuous with unmanaged forest on land under the control of
the Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE.

This vegetation aligns with the west, the direction of worst case fire weather conditions for the region.

Figure 2 shows the access/egress for both new lots in a safe direction.
