               Minor Change OPW – OPW21/0134

We submit for your review and approval the following minor change to the existing Op Works
Approved Drawing(s). During Construction it was identified that the outlet for the drain in Lot 3 at
Lake Weyba Drive would be over 600mm below the natural verge level. To cut a free draining
outlet would compromise cover over existing services (water, sewer and NBN) and create a
potential safety issue in the verge for the public. As such we have identified an alternate solution
to put a drain under the new driveway with the outlet located in Lot 1. It is acknowledged that an
easement will be required on Lot 1 to provide a legal point of discharge from Lot 3. This has been
shown on the revised drawing(s).
Note 1: that the area at the back of Lot 3 always drained to the south west as per the attached
marked up plan so the solution more accurately replicates the original situation.
Note 2: that the fire trail location was amended slightly to ensure the outlet did not clash with the
fire trail pavement.
