PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 9 AUGUST 2016
Figure 2 - View from Wimmers Lane.
2. SITE DETAILS
2.1. Background
The land historically has been used for Wimmers Soft Drinks and, more recently, Cooroy Mountain
Spring Water businesses.
2.2. Site Description
The rectangular shaped lot has approximately 60m frontages to both Garnet Street and Wimmers
Lane. The lot accommodates the disused Wimmers Soft Drink building, which covers most of the
site, except for some hardstand area to the east side of the lot. The lot has approximately 3m of
slope from Garnet Street down to Wimmers Lane.
A garden with a mature eucalypt and some palm trees exists in the south east corner of the lot.
An existing stormwater easement conveys stormwater from pits in Garnet Street to pits in Wimmers
Lane. Figures 3 and 4 show the existing Garnet Street and Wimmers Lane frontages.
