     We support the application. The land is privately owned.

     There is an existing DA approval for this use and the site is zoned Tourist Accommodation I
     the Noosa Plan 2020. The application is asking for minor amendments to provide amenity
     (resort complex and shop) for hotel guests and will also provide amenity for nearby residents
     of Settlers Cove.

     The contribution of this development to this LGA’s GRP will be significant both in the
     construction and the operational stage.

     The development will provide significant economic benefit to Noosa Junction businesses due
     to the development’s proximity to the Junction.

     The development will offer significant employment opportunities both in the construction
     phase and the operational phase.

     We ask Noosa Council to approve the application.
