Project Background The noise impact assessment by ATP Consulting Engineers, dated 24 June 2015, considered the assessment criteria and methodology outlined in the Guideline for Acoustical Consultants When Assessing Noise Associated with Entertainment and Patrons at Premises Licensed Under the Liquor Act 1992, as per the requirements of the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLG). The report listed conditions for maximum sound pressure levels for patron noise and music noise at the café. The report also recommended patron noise management measures, as well as construction of a 2.4 metre high acoustic fence on the north-eastern boundary of the café. With these noise control measures in place it was demonstrated that the Village Bicycle café will comply with the noise limits defined under the Liquor Act 1992 and Liquor Regulation 2002.
