Assessment comments
This initiative in its second year (excluding pilot) demonstrates an ever-increasing
membership base which complements the resources and service provided. A great
achievement in a COVID impacted year, and showing good strides towards financial
sustainability.
This project aligns with a specific implementation action of the Noosa Environment
Strategy (NES), and an operational decision has been made to fund the program
directly from budget allocation for NES delivery, freeing up grant funds for other
community projects. Therefore, while no funding will be allocated as part of this
grant round, officers will liaise with NICA to directly engage them to deliver the
project to a similar level of funding.
