8.2.        TURF PROFILES

 TU01: Turf Profile – Turf on Grade
 Turf Type- Sir Walter Buffalo DNA certified
 Roll type - 600mm x 1.7m rolls (recommended for minimal wastage)
 Soil - 300mm depth ‘On grade soil media -Turf’
 Subgrade Preparation - Remove all existing weed material using glyphosate herbicide (to be applied minimum
 two weeks prior to lawn installation). Rip to 150mm depth. Where clay conditions are found, incorporate
 gypsum or clay breaker at the rate of 100g/m2
 Installation - To finish flush with adjacent surface levels. Top-dress with 10mm layer of clean washed river sand
 to achieve uniform surface if uneven. Top-dressing only to be undertaken in growing seasons (September to
 March)
