DELEGATE DESCRIPTION OF POWER DELEGATED LEGISLATION ADOPTED BY CONDITIONS TO WHICH THE
COUNCIL DELEGATION IS SUBJECT
Chief Power, as lessee, to:- Sections 156(2) and (4)
Executive (a) provide the Minister with an improvements report; Land Act 1994.
Officer (b) give the Minister information, or further information,
about a building or other structure on the lease land;
and
(c) give the Minister a report about the condition of the
buildings and other structures on the lease land.
Chief Power, as lessee, to within the reasonable period stated in the Section 157B(2)(a)(iii)
Executive notice, make written submissions about any matter relevant to Land Act 1994.
Officer the reasons for the chief executive’s proposal.
Chief Power, as lessee, to apply for an offer of a new lease (a Section 158 Land Act
Executive renewal application). 1994.

Chief Power, as trustee, to consult with the Chief Executive. Section 159A(2) Land
Executive Act 1994.

Chief Power, as an applicant for a renewal application, to appeal Section 160(3) Land
Executive against the chief executive’s decision to refuse the renewal Act 1994.
Officer application if the only reason for the refusal was that the
applicant had not complied with the conditions of the lease.
