Chief Power to invite expressions of interest pursuant to section 228. Section 228(2)(b) The local government:
Executive Local Government (a) decides, by resolution,
Officer Regulation 2012 that it would be in the
public interest to invite
expressions of interest
before inviting written
tenders; and
(b) records its reasons for
making the resolution
in the minutes of the
meeting at which the
resolution was made.
Chief Power to take all reasonable steps to publish an invitation for Section 228(6) Local
Executive tenders or expressions of interest in another way to notify the Government
Officer public about the tender process. Regulation 2012
Chief Power to prepare a shortlist of people from the persons who Section 228(7) Local
Executive responded to the invitation for expressions of interest and to Government
Officer invite written tenders from those persons. Regulation 2012
Chief Power to invite all persons who submitted a tender to change Section 228(8) Local
Executive their tender to take account of a change in the tender Government
