2.4    Groundwater
No signs of groundwater seepage (‘springs’) were observed during our walk-over in proximity to the
development areas. Groundwater seepage was not logged in any of the GD boreholes undertaken at the
site.

2.5    Surface Drainage
Natural surface drainage would follow the ground surface gradients and disperse as sheet flow to the north-
west. The site is generally considered to be well drained owing to the positive gradients, being relatively
gentle, and the low permeability of the clayey surficial soils. No significant signs of erosion were noted.
