                          RE:    POLICY - S.48A OF THE CRIME AND CORRUPTION ACT 2001
                          The Crime and Corruption Commission has reviewed the revised version of your
                          Council’s draft Complaints about the Public Official: section 48A of the Crime and
                          Corruption Act 2001 which was received on 26 February 2015.
                          We consider that the draft sufficiently conforms with the requirements of section 48A
                          of the Crime and Corruption Act 2001, and we note that the Mayor of Noosa Council
                          is the nominated officer for the purposes of that section.
                          Please provide the CCC with a copy of the final version of the policy once it has been
                          approved by Council, together with confidential contact details (phone and email) for
                          the nominated officer.
