Note 1: Operational Funding

Operational Support requested for FY 2017 was $ 140,000 – this budget assumes that that amount is not drawn
down in full for the time being.

Note 2: Consultants

Provides for a recently graduated PHD to join NBRF on a consultancy basis for 20 hours a week from November 2016
at $30 an hour (total approx.$ 15,600); responsibility to develop on the plan with GCI, together with the
management plan and submission to UNESCO.

Note 3: Donations
Provides for one off contributions to the Lake Mc Donald Mary River Cod hatchery ($1,200) and the Makepeace
Koala Conservancy ($750).

Note 4: Admin

NBRF currently has a temporary Admin Assistant providing administrative and web site support; the budget assumes
approx. 20 hours per week at $45 per hour for approximately 45 weeks.

Note 5: Marketing
Part time engagement of consultant to write press releases; gain more visibility of NBRF activities.

Note 6: Development Officer
NBRF intention is to retain services of an experienced professional officer with global connections to take up the role
circa Q2/3 2017. It is intended that this person will take the Foundation to the next level, including increased
advocacy and fund raising capacity.
