OBJECTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION FOR NURSERY SITE 37
GIBSON ROAD


I Margaret Bernadette Palk of 36 Shorehaven Drive Noosaville wish to inform you of
my objection to the above mentioned Application Number and completely reject the
developer seeking to have the abovenamed site rezoned from residential use under the
Noosa Plan to Commercial use for a `Convenience Centre'.

Being a local resident ofNoosaville the last thing it needs is this proposed facility as we
already have shopping centres close in proximity to Noosaville ie the Noosa Village
which includes a large Woolworths shopping centre, speciality shops and the Homemaker
centre, McDonalds, Villa Noosa Pub, Dan Murphys to name a few.

This proposal will effect the local area with increased noise, traffic, pollution and crime
not to mention existing businesses and sole traders trying to survive in these times
inevitably affecting their already struggling business due to high rents and financial
hardships.

I trust my petition will help put a stop to this unnecessary development.
