clearing was undertaken as exempt clearing for bushfire protection under Schedule 6 of the Planning
Regulation 2017.
The mapped area of VHC 39.2 also encapsulates the recently installed fire break located in the
Noosa Council land to the immediate northeast and southeast of the site (refer Plate 10 & Section
5.4).
VHC 39.2 is attributed a potential combined surface fuel load of 5 t/ha and a potential total fuel load
of 8 t/ha, and is classed as Prone Type 3 (QFES, 2019). Plate 8 depicts typical conditions within
VHC 39.2.
