The plenary sessions of the Committee will be co-chaired by Noosa Council (Chief Executive or
Mayor).
Noosa Council will chair and lead discussion on matters related to the River Health and Biodiversity
theme within the Noosa River Plan including topics such as:
© Water quality monitoring, research and biodiversity conservation in the river system
© Riparian and wetiand habitat, including sedimentation, bank stability and erosion,
® Land-based contaminants entering the river through run off, such as pollution and sediment
© Stormwater management.
® Land use planning and development control.
