                 4.      CATCHMENT DESCRIPTION
                 Noosa Parklands is situated between Cooroy-Noosa Road and Golf Course Drive in Tewantin. It is
                 situated within the Wooroi Creek catchment which drains northwards to the Noosa River. The
                 location of Noosa Parklands is shown on Image 4-1 and the topography of the catchment is shown
                 on Image 4-2.   The Wooroi Creek total catchment area draining to Golf Course Drive just
                 downstream of the estate is 6.3km?.
                 The floodplain elevation at the downstream extent of the estate is generally around 4.5 m AHD
                 which is approximately 1.5 m above the 1% Annual Exceedance Probability (AEP) Noosa River
                 flood level.
                 The main branch of Wooroi Creek through the Noosa Parklands Estate has a floodplain width
                 typically in the range of between 80m to 160m.
