The nest boxes should be placed within an area that contains suitable species and quantities
of food trees that are favoured by the species that the nest box was designed for.

A minimum of thirteen nest boxes will be required to compensate for the hollows proposed
to be removed. More may be required depending on the hollow occupancy numbers. The type
of nest boxes required will also be impacted by the species sighted and captured during
                 clearing works.
Hollows and hollow logs should be retained where practical and placed into retained
vegetation. To minimise the loss of terrestrial habitat within the site.
