Dear Assessment Manager,

As a resident of 14 Tree St, Pomona and a supporter of Cooroy's sustainable growth, I, Alex Hope-O'Connor, am writing to express my support for the proposed car wash at 34 Elm Street. Below is a detailed breakdown of the reasons:

Location & Access: With its strategic positioning between two service stations and opposite the train station, the proposed car wash benefits from the existing flow of traffic. Furthermore, the thoughtful planning of driveways ensures smooth ingress and egress, reducing any potential traffic congestion.

Green Initiatives: The design focuses heavily on retaining the natural landscape. The retention of existing trees and the addition of new trees not only beautifies the area but also contributes positively to the environment. The commitment to these green spaces demonstrates the vision of Kings Group (Qld) Pty Ltd in being socially and environmentally responsible.

Diverse Planting: The wide range of flora, including screening shrubs, feature plants, grassy plants, and groundcovers, not only enhances aesthetics but also supports local biodiversity.

Community Consideration: The design has amenities such as seating arrangements, outdoor dining areas, and benches which offer spots for relaxation. This showcases a design that’s focused on enhancing community interaction as well as providing the primary car wash service.

Traffic Flow & Safety: The design layout is in harmony with the existing traffic on Elm Street, with clear areas for various car wash bays. The site layout ensures easy navigation for users, reducing the chances of traffic-related issues.
