RE: Bushfire Management Plan Certification – 215 David Low Way, Peregian Beach

JWA have been engaged by Evans Built Pty Ltd, on behalf of Scanlon Property Group, to certify
that the recommendations of an approved Bushfire Management Plan have been completed on
land at 215 David Low Way, Peregian Beach (i.e. Lot 77 on SP231615) in accordance with
Condition 11 of the Development Permit for Material Change of Use (MCU13/0251). Condition
11 states:

       11.    Certification must be submitted from a suitably qualified person which
              certifies that the recommendations of a Bushfire Management Plan approved
              by Council have been incorporated into the development.

A Bushfire Management Plan (DFS Group 2015) was prepared for the site in February 2015 and
subsequently approved by Council in October 2015. Table 11 in SECTION 7.0 of the approved
Bushfire Management Plan contained a “Summary of Recommendations” of the report.

A site assessment was completed on the 12th August 2016 by one (1) JWA Principal Ecologist
and the “Summary of Recommendations” table was used as a checklist to determine if relevant
recommendations had been incorporated into the development. Table 1 below provides the
results of the site assessment.
