to be made but have considered the Twin Waters Resort on the Sunshine Coast, which is
located close to the Sunshine Coast Airport and also those built on islands such as Kingfisher
(Fraser Is) and Tangalooma (Moreton Is).

Both of these types of resorts have different needs and demands with respect parking and
their respective operations, with none being directly comparable. All of these resorts lack the
facilities provided by the current location within Noosa Heads and ease of access to facilities
and services. It is suggested given the increased number of parking spaces (48 additional)
the comparison with similar resorts is not necessary or reasonable to demonstrate sufficient
parking is provided for the proposed Resort Complex.

5) Advise of the number of EFT staff expected to be employed at the proposed hotel/resort.

With respect to part 5, as explained in the report by TTP in the advice provided, it is expected
the total number of additional full time staff for the “Boutique Hotel” will 44 (refer
Attachment 4). It is noted the parking surveys undertaken included patrons and staff for
the existing operation of the Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort.

6) Details of the referenced parking surveys at the existing carpark in 2015.

With respect to part 6, the carparking surveys undertaken for the existing operation of the
Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort are provided as Appendix A in the response prepared by
TTP (refer Attachment 4).

7) Details of proposals referenced throughout the traffic report and in the recommendations in
   relation to the provision of and encouragement of use of facilities such as mopeds, electric
   bikes & scooters and shuttle buses, including associated conditions of approval that the
   Council could impose to facilitate the aspirational outcomes.

With respect to part 7, provision has been made for 8 motorbike parking spaces, electric
bike, and moped parking will also be provided on the site. The applicant is committed to
providing a minimum of five (5) electric bikes and five (5) mopeds initially for the operation
of the Resort Complex, with additional moped and electric bikes being increased subject to
demand.

A shuttle bus will also be provided to provide guest transfers to the site as required. It is not
expected the proposed shuttle bus will used for airport transfers with this service generally
arranged with other transfer contractors being more cost effective; however, this will be
arranged and organised by the resort management as required.

While additional parking has been provided to remove any doubt about the operation of the
“Boutique Hotel” in association with the other existing facilities, it remains the intent to
provide alternative modal transport options, which is cost effective and sustainable. These
alternative modes of transport will be increased subject to demand by patrons.
