Previous Council Consideration

2026 for background and implementation information.


Finance
The proposed 2026/27 budget includes a total allocation of $931,658.18 for the community grants
program for the categories of Community Project Grants, Community Alliance, Three Year
Maintenance Agreements, Signature Community Events, Community Quick Response and
Individual Sports Development Grants, subject to the budget being adopted as presented. Of this,
$32,500 is recommended for Community Project Grants Program - Events as provided in
Attachment 1 of this report.

As per the '2026-27 Community Grants Program – Community Project Grants and Signature
Community Events Summary' report, a balance of $102,393.22 is proposed for 2026/27, which is
recommended for Quick Response and emergent grant requirements that may arise throughout the
year.
