Figure 4.1 – Existing Drainage Paths & Infrastructure
4.2 Existing Drainage Patterns
Data obtained from Noosa Council’s Interactive Mapping, accompanied with a detailed site survey
prepared by Bennet & Bennet confirms the following drainage patterns: -
Roofwater runoff
1. A visual site inspection of the Eumundi Noosa Rd street frontage found that there was no kerb
outlets for Lots 75-77. Therefore it is assumed that roofwater runoff from the existing buildings
is discharged to the ground or to the existing underground drainage infrastructure at the rear of
the site.
2. The roof water from the existing building located at 26 Headland Drive is discharged to the kerb
& channel on Headland Drive via kerb adaptors.
Surface Runoff
1. Surface runoff from the existing surface on Lots 75,76 & part of 77 RP71151 generally falls in
an easterly direction towards the rear boundary and into the existing inter-allotment drainage
system.
2. Surface runoff from Lot 6 SP208257 and a portion of Lot 77 RP71151 generally falls in a south-
easterly direction towards the Headland Drive Road Reserve.
