 Garnet Street Operation Works Application OPW15/0044 – Hydrologist Certification (Item 2)


Dear Sir/Madam,

Rob Stewart of Hydrology and Water Management Consulting Pty Ltd (HWMC) hereby certifies that
works that are constructed in accordance with the submitted plans (attached for reference) will:

       •   Achieve compliance with the higher order conditions (in as far as they relate to Cooroy
           Creek flood impacts and road immunity);
       •   Be in accordance with current industry guidelines, including QUDM and the latest Australian
           Rainfall and Runoff guidelines. It is noted that all culverts have been modelled assuming a
           blockage factor of 20% for the impact assessment and a copy of the 1% AEP and the 10%
           AEP impact maps are attached. Modelling has also made allowance for blockage of the
           proposed guard rails and traffic barriers.
