Details of Submission I (We), make the following submission: We believe this development should not go ahead as it is in such a critical area for koalas as well as all other wildlife who inhabit this site. Not only is it habitat and food and shelter for our remaining, critically endangered koalas, it is also a very important corridor for their safe movement. Already there are problems with traffic and their movement from Weyba Esplanade, Leslie Drive, Weyba Road, Noosa Drive etc. to this important area. We do not need more traffic entering and leaving this site. The RACV already have many STA's on this site and we believe there is no need for any more to be added in such a sensitive area; Noosa is already overloaded with STA's and to destroy precious habitat that is vital to the survival of any remaining koalas is definitely unwarranted. We would urge all involved to reject this development application for the sake of our koalas, wildlife and eco system after all we are a "biosphere" and it is imperative that we save this precious habitat along the creek from any development or destruction.
