Dear Sir/Madam,

RE: RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - PART
Development Application – Material Change of Use – Multiple Housing Type 3 Retirement and
Special Needs over land described as Lot 2 on RP148228 and situated at 186 Cooroy Noosa
Road, Tewantin

I refer to the above application and Councils email correspondence of 15th June 2018 requesting further
information.

The applicant attaches further information with regard to traffic and carparking, ecological assessment
and fire aspects raised by Council and advises that additional information in relation to flood impacts is
currently being undertaken by Cardno Engineers and will be provided shortly.

Please find attached:

     Traffic and car parking:
     • Revised proposal plans prepared by Middap Architects which include an overall site plan for car
       parking on site.
     • Tod Consulting parking and traffic management statement and operational works plans approved
by Noosa Council for parking in the Cooroy Noosa Road. No changes are proposed to the existing
approved works in the road reserve.
     Ecological Assessment
      • Please refer to a revised Ecological Statement from Native Foresters.

Bushfire Hazard Assessment and Management Plan
      • A revised Bushfire Hazard Assessment and Management Plan is attached that discusses the
removal of the 2.4m high non-flammable fence as this was an ‘add on’ and not a key component
of bushfire mitigation measures required for the development.

The above information is submitted to enable staff time to assess these components prior to submission
of the updated Cardno Engineers flood report.
