The proposal site is set within the Cooran

Much of the land near the site along Tablelands

blocks, containing residences with rural
outbuildings.
The site is in close proximity to several
residences along Tablelands Road, including
neighbouring properties approximately 100-180
metres northwest and 200 metres south of the
site.
V IEW FROM THE COORAN TABLELANDS LOOKOUT
There are several built structures within 100
metres of the proposal site, including a primary

structures, caravans and a shipping container.
There is an existing Telstra facility southwest of
the proposal site at 265 Tablelands Road. This
facility is a 30-metre-high monopole that
currently holds equipment from Telstra,
Vodafone and GWN.
To the northeast of the site, the Tablelands
Lookout (also known as the James McKane ADJACENT RESIDENCE AND LANDFORM

Memorial Lookout) offers southeasterly views
towards the Glass House Mountains including
the volcanic plugs of Mt Pinbarren, Mt Cooran
and Mt Cooroora.
Refer Figure 4-1 Site Context and 4-2 Site
