This is a strong and SROI attribution, demonstrating the Digital Hub is a significant generator of employment in
the digital sector. These values are calculated in section 8.

 Location of jobs

Respondents were asked about the location of jobs created through the Digital Hub. Based on information
 provided:
     • 50% local
     • 34% Brisbane
     • 16% elsewhere (including 1 job in the Aboriginal community of Cherbourg)

6.2.4 Attribution of outcomes to Digital Hub

This section of the survey seeks to understand the extent to which outcomes can be attributed to the Digital Hub

To what extent would any positive economic outcomes have Number Percentage
happened anyway, without the availability of the Digital Hub?
Unlikely would have happened 8 40
Would not have happened 2 10
Would have happened anyway 1 5
 Cannot say 9 45

This question was asked to help assess the extent of outcomes which can be directly attributed to Digital Hub.
This is a moderate response compared to aforementioned survey response fields. As evident, around half of
respondents were unable to predict. This response is also likely to involve many variables among respondents.
This includes the experience, relationships and existing skill development before becoming a member.
Of note, 45% were unable to say, but the level of attribution to other values is relatively high in other fields
(see following question response as just one example). While not relied upon, evaluators are confident the
attribution within the above survey response is most likely under-represented.
Based on the findings, 50% direct attribution is directly calculated. This is likely to be a conservative position
when the following response is also considered.
