Attention:  Mark Jamieson Mayor

I would like you to vote NO to the proposal on tomorrows agenda mcu12/0184
Proposed Boiler farm at Top Forestry road.
Council planning department have recommended a NO vote as well.
I am a ratepayer of 26years in the vicinity of the proposed factory farm.
There are currently no farms of this type in this area.
Council should consider RISK AND LIABILITY.
This proposal significantly increases risk to  human life
(dangerous roads+heavy vehicles+school buses don't mix)
      human health  (noise, odour,
dust from confined birds+ possible bird flu)
      human wealth  (reduced
property values, water run off polluting Blackfellow Creek)
      wildlife   (increased wild
dogs drawn to area means koalas, spotted quoll will
     probably become extinct)(Endangered species
in Blackfellow creek like the
 frogs there would be polluted.  The platypus are not endangered now
but how          sad to see them
struggle against runoff from this proposed factory farm.)
      current farmers  Proposed
factory farm runoff into Blackfellow Creek, possible bird flu
       outbreak as seen lately down in
NSW
      the birds themselves Intensive
factory farming is frowned upon by the average person in the
       enlightened age we all live in
now.
      There really are no economic benefits
to this proposal.

A NO vote would remove your personal LIABILITY in this matter and would
ensure you really are doing the right thing by the people who voted for
you.
