Re: Application No MCU 19/0047
145 Musa Vale Road – Material Change of Use Visitor Accommodation – Type 3 Rural

We are writing to request a review of the fee charged for a Minor Change Application, involving:

A change to approved plans to delete the new driveway and parking/turning area
A reduction in the performance bond amount
Amendment to Condition 11 to reflect the above change
Deletion of Conditions 12 and 13

We would like to request a reduction of the Minor Change Application Fee currently $2218 for the following reasons:

We are yet to lease this as Guest Accommodation
There is limited assessment required
There is no need for works to be undertaken
The guest parking would no longer use the driveway proposed in the initial submission of 2019.
As the guest parking is located outside of the enclosed garden area there is no need for a turning circle.
The refurbished access to the new residence provides an adequate turning area from the existing carport.
We live in a rural environment on a dead-end dirt road. There is minimal passing traffic to impact access to and from the property.
