      Re:     Change Application S.78 - Development Permit for Operational Works –
              Stormwater Drainage Works, Earthworks, Roadworks and Landscaping –
              30 Pine Street, Cooroy – Lot 1 RP72902

             Dear Sir/Madam,
             Bax Engineering Pty Ltd act on behalf of Lee Smith, in relation to the abovementioned
             development permit. This correspondence serves as a request for a minor change to the
             development approval (Council Ref. No. OPW20/0004).
             The proposed changes involve minor changes to engineering details.
             1.     Change to driveway crossover type from RS-049 to RS-056, as noted in the following
             condition:
             Driveway and Carparking
             18. The crossover must be constructed generally in accordance with the approved plans and
             in compliance Council’s standard drawing RS-056 for Rural Driveway (no kerb, a bitumen edge)
             and its addendum i.e. 1.5m of driveway crossover abutting into existing road edge must be
             flexible pavement, eg NOT concrete.
             Refer to attached: Site Layout Plan, Dwg No. 050-001-003, Rev C, dated 2/12/22
             We request the abovementioned plan is accepted as an approved plan.
             We understand the applicable fee is $2,330.00, as per Council’s Fees & Charges 2022-2023
             Minor change to a Development Approval - minor matters              $2,330.00
             In this instance and given the context of the development and the nature of the change, being
             a change to notation regarding driveway type, we consider the following application fee
             reasonable in this instance.
             Base Fee - Vehicle Crossover $565.00
             We respectfully request Council considers a fee reduction for this minor change application.
