These drawings should be read in conjunction with the Barlow Shelley design drawings for the project. The changes shown on these drawings are as follows: 1. Road A Revision to road cross fall to ensure crossfall grades to the kerb line. The Barlow Shelley Design indicated a small section of road (CH30 to CH60 approx.) on the southern carriageway falling to the median. The majority of this road falls to the kerb. The revised design removes the part of the road falling to the central median for consistency and to avoid negative crossfall transitions. Further, with the full extent of the road falling to the kerb, the central median biopod has been deleted and two bio pods placed adjacent the kerb. An additional gully pit has been included on the southern side of the road. A copy of the MUSIC model that has been produced to size the biopods is included with this submission. 2. Walter Hay Drive Roundabout The current approved drawings do not include any line marking or signage detail at the Walter Hay Drive Roundabout. Adjustments are required with the inclusion of the westbound leg. The drawing show augmentations to the line marking and signage at all approach legs in order to facilitate the single departure lane westbound. The above drawings are provided for submission to Council for a Minor Change application. Yours sincerely Shaun Pilcher Principal Engineer – Urban Development Attachments 1.
