4 Discussion
4.1      Noise Conditions Endorsed By OLGR
Following the outcomes of the assessment and acoustic report as detailed in Section 3, OLGR
issued the licensed premises with a liquor licence on 28 April 2025 (Licence number: 86806). A
fully copy of the liquor licence is provided in Appendix A. OLGR included recommendations from
the report #1721d1-C, in relation to noise limits at the CEMLs, in Specific Condition 116582285
reproduced below in Figure 4:

The existing noise limits stated in Noosa Council’s Condition 8(iii) and (iv) are outdated and do not
align with the current endorsed noise limits as shown above. Therefore, the existing conditions
should be updated to align with those endorsed by OLGR.


4.2      Conditions Relating to Sound Limiting Devices
This section provides discussion into the existing conditions endorsed by both Noosa Council and
Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation, in relation to the use of sound limiting devices.

Table 3 below provides a comparison of the relevant conditions.
