Natural overland flow is the only mechanism currently directing water down slope into the creek at the base of the steep bushland to the north of the property. 3.2.3 Vegetation The south-western corner of the property is largely cleared with some established trees spread around the proposed development area. To the south of the cleared area the slope becomes steeper and the vegetation becomes denser with large trees and shrubs. Where the property had been cleared, well established grass covered the area though down slope where the vegetation becomes more dense there is very little ground cover and the soil is largely exposed. 3.2.4 Buildings, other structures The property is currently vacant and does not have any structures on it besides rural fencing. 3.2.5 Site Classification A site classification report has been previously completed by others and is outside the scope of this report. 4 SLOPE RISK ASSESSMENT 4.1 Introduction Utilising the Australian Geomechanics Society Guidelines for Landslide Risk Management (2007) risk assessment methodology, and provided that the development construction and post construction maintenance of the site is undertaken in accordance with the restrictions and precautions outlined in Section 5, the site assessed risk level is considered to be Low. 10 May 2022 CGC-SR-2022-011-R01-Rev01 Page 11
