Project budget, partners, and governance
The governance arrangements for the Project are defined in the Agreement, which was executed on the 25th of July 2019.
The Agreement commenced on the 30th of July 2019 and ended 30th of September 2022. The total budget for the
implementing actions under the agreement was $2.4M. This amount included a contribution of $1.2M from TNC, which
included $200,000 from the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS), and $1.2M from NC. The key policy settings and
project management arrangements for the Project are presented in Figure 2.

A Technical Advisory Group (TAG) advised on scientific and technical aspects of the Project. The TAG also provided comments
to draft project periodic and annual reports, which TNC then submitted to NC for review and acceptance. Subject matter
experts were engaged by TNC, as required, to provide insight to the latest science in shellfish restoration. The project delivery
team included TNC and NC.
