Conclusion

The project represented excellent value for money to the Noosa community.

With a local contribution of just $1.2m, TNC and its partners have delivered 30 oyster reefs, extensive community outreach
and raised an additional $2.4m in funds for the core project work. TNC will also add at least another $0.56m in the direct
expenditure on the project in the coming years.

TNC will also continue to maintain a local presence and work to support Kabi Kabi traditional custodians, NC and the local
community with efforts to understand and improve the Noosa River for the benefit of nature and people as resources allow.

We hope this project inspires further local investment in marine restoration, living shorelines and other projects which benefit
the health and vitality of the Noosa River and its tributaries. TNC looks forward to working closely with NC and the people of
Noosa into the future.
