I refer to the plan submitted to Unitywater for assessment.

This approval constitutes Unitywater’s consent to accept the trade waste.

The following is Unitywater’s Trade Waste Section assessment of the submitted plan.

Approval:
You are advised that Unitywater Trade Waste has approved the trade waste installation.

Pre-Treatment Facilities
Discharge of wastewater from aquaculture waste tank.

Unitywater’s Guidelines
The proposed installation will comply with Unitywaters sewer admission limit guidelines.

Issues to be addressed
TDS salt concentration must be less than 15,000 mg/l
Discharge not to exceed 10,000 litres/day or 7 litres per minute
Discharge flow meter be capable of continuous measuring and the data logged
A conductivity meter be installed on the discharge line
Provision of a sampling point before discharge to sewer

Not included in this Approval
Please note this approval does not;
Approve other connections to Unitywater water supply or sewage systems;
Pre-empt approval or compliance with Council’s Development approval conditions;
Constitute or imply compliance with the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2002;
Constitute or imply approval of the plumbing or drainage fixtures, items, apparatuses or associated pipe work;
Constitute or imply approval or compliance with any State or Federal legislation or Local Laws’.
