7    FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE REPORT - JULY 2016
     Committee Recommendation

     That Council note the report by the Manager Financial Services to the General Committee
     Meeting dated 15 August 2016 providing the July YTD monthly financial performance report
     for the 2016/17 financial year.

8    BUDGET REVIEW - CARRYOVER FROM 2015/16 TO 2016/17
     Committee Recommendation
     Moved:           Cr Wellington
     Seconded:        Cr Jurisevic
     That Council note the report by the Manager Financial Services to the General Committee
     Meeting dated 15 August 2016 and approve the requested changes to the budget for the
     2016/17 financial year as outlined in the Revised Budget Financial Statements provided at
     Attachment 4 to the report.

9    ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT GRANT PROGRAM
     Committee Recommendation
     Moved:           Cr Stockwell
     Seconded:        Cr Wilkie
     That Council note the report by the Senior Economic Development Officer to the General
     Committee Meeting dated 15 August 2016 and:
     A.   Approve the amended Community Grants Policy provided at Attachment 1 to the
          report, and
     B.   Authorise the Chief Executive Officer to conduct the first round of the Economic
          Development Grant Program from 1 September 2016 in accordance with the Economic
          Development Grant Program Guideline provided at Attachment 2 to the report, and that
          a review of the program be undertaken after a period of 12 months.

10   TAFE QUEENSLAND           (SMALL     BUSINESS     SOLUTIONS)       MEMORANDUM         OF
     UNDERSTANDING

     Moved:           Cr Pardon
     Seconded:        Cr Jurisevic
     That Council note the report by the Senior Economic Development Officer to the General
     Committee Meeting dated 15 August 2016 and authorise the Chief Executive Officer to enter
     into the Memorandum of Understanding with TAFE Queensland (Small Business Solutions)
     as provided at Attachment 1 to the report.
