PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 6 FEBRUARY 2018
expected that the recently announced projects will continue this trend. This opportunity would not
be available to Council.
At this stage, the Foundation has not fully complied with Council’s requirements around
performance indicators and they acknowledge that this is outstanding although agreement was
only reached in May 2017 which was too late to implement for the 2016/17 Financial Year.
Other risks are largely matters for the Foundation to be mindful of in terms of maintaining their
charitable registration status by being more than simply a grant provider and undertaking
activities themselves and by seeking or raising funds from sources other than Council. The latter
is now underway.
