SERVICES & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 12 MARCH 2019

5. FUTURE DIRECTION

Management priorities for the remainder of the year include:
 Implementation of an upgraded telephone system which will allow admin staff to assist
service delivery staff with the increased number of client callers who require clarity with the
   new My Aged Care processes.
 Awaiting the outcome of the centre’s application for QCSS funding. More information will be
forthcoming in May 2019. Once the application outcome is known, management will plan for
   adjusted operations accordingly.
 Continued progression on integrating TRACCS invoicing with T1.
 Investigating new centre management systems that are capable of providing a better
experience to customers and staff alike.

Risks & Opportunities
As already outlined, NCS is facing the strong possibility of funding loss due to changes to the
QCC funding scheme. To help mitigate the impact of this possibility, management are taking
actions to streamline operations and reduce costs. Given the requirement for NCS to operate to a
zero bottom line, any loss of funding will trigger cost reduction measures.
