Log in to see the plans as drawnImplementation of the following programs during the construction and operational phases of the
proposed development will enable the safe and sustainable management of wastes generated:
• Source separation to minimise and avoid cross contamination;
• Waste materials reuse and recycling during the construction phase;
• Waste avoidance and minimisation during the construction and operational phases;
• Sustainable resource recovery and onsite reuse e.g. organic recycling/composting, recycling
of cans and bottles etc, during the operational phase; and
• Education program for site users, tenants and operational staff.
The adoption of recycling and reuse programs will enable financial benefits in the form of reduced
quantities of waste requiring collection disposal.
The adoption of a waste auditing and monitoring program in conjunction with an education program
for tenants will enable the better management of wastes and identification of opportunities for
improvement.
