That Council note the report by the Waste Management Coordinator to the Infrastructure and
Services Committee Meeting dated 1 March 2016 providing an update on the activities of the
Waste Management Section to 31 January 2016

The Acting Manager of Waste and Environmental Health has completed a review and update of
the Waste Management Services’ Risk Management Program. This Program is reviewed and
updated regularly.
Consultation
External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder
The recommendations of the first Noosa Community Jury has been used to formulate the
Council’s new Waste Reduction and Recycling Plan.
