6.0 THE NOOSA PLAN

The site is located in the Noosa Heads Locality and the Business Centre Zone (Zone Map ZM6).

6.1 LAND USE DEFINITION

The proposed development is defined under the Noosa Plan as follows:

         Retail business means the conduct of a business activity, where goods or services are displayed
         or offered for sale to the public. The term includes the following types:

                 Type 2 Shop & salon - The use of premises for an activity that is generally found in a
                 shopping complex, strip or centre. The use includes a shop, hairdressing salon, appliance
                 repairs, alterations, dry cleaning and a café with dining facilities for up to 10 people.

Comment: The proposed development will be established in accordance with the above definition.

6.2 LEVEL OF ASSESSMENT
