* DONOT Allow newspapers, disposable or sanitary napkins, rubber products,
nappy liners, cotton buds etc. to enter the system.

* DONOT Use an in-sink garbage grinder. These are not recommended by most
councils as they can add extra loading equivalent to about 2 persons.

*

DONOT Use strong caustics, acids, alkalis or chemical detergents. These can
damage the system and cause bad odours.

* DONOT Use disinfectants or other bactericides.

* DONOT Put grease/fats or food scraps down the kitchen sink i.e plates should be
scraped resonably clean prior to washing up.

* NEVER Dispose of used cooking oil or similar material down the sink.
