2       Site Context and Description
2.1     Surrounding area
The suburb of Noosaville is bounded by the Noosa River to the north, Weyba Creek to the east and the
shoreline of Lake Weyba. Development within the north of the suburb, near the river, is predominantly
residential in nature, including the Noosa Waters canal estate. The southern part of the suburb, including
Lake Webya is largely undeveloped, apart from the Noosa Aerodrome. In the west of the suburb there is
a mix of residential areas and commercial areas, including major shopping centres and the Noosa Civic
which serves the Noosa community. An aerial photograph showing the residential nature of areas

2.2     Site description
The subject land is located at 13 Eumundi Noosa Road, Noosaville QLD 4566 and described as Lot 1 on
RP79817. The subject land currently comprises a single storey dwelling house with vehicle access being
obtained from Eumundi Noosa Road. An aerial photo of the subject land is provided at Figure 2.
