9 RP 209025) – Modifications to Existing Car Parking


Noosa Christian College proposes some minor modifications to their existing internal car parking
area accessed from Cooroy Belli Creek Road. EDGE Consulting Engineers have prepared the required
engineering design in support of the proposed car parking area changes (refer attached drawings).


The proposed works will include minor demolition works of the existing car park access and the
extension of the existing pavement area to accommodate additional car parking. Stormwater flows
from the development area are to discharge at the same arrangement and into the existing
stormwater network. Upon review of the existing stormwater system, the proposed works including
any increase in impervious area and discharge flow rates from the development area are considered
negligible and are not expected to cause any adverse impacts to the existing site nor the neighboring
properties.
The extent of works proposed in this application are located solely within the existing car park area.
No building associated works are proposed in this submission.
