Proposed Service Station, 175 Eumundi Noosa Road, Noosaville 3 Proposed Development 3.1 Description The proposed development includes a service station with a convenience store. The proposed site plan, prepared by Nettleton Tribe, is included within Appendix A of this report. As illustrated on the site plan, a total of 10 car parking spaces are proposed for the site. The service station will have two vehicular crossovers on Eumundi Noosa Road (one left-in ingress and one left-out egress). All drivers would enter the site via the western ingress (left-in), circulate clockwise through the site and leave the site via the eastern egress (left-out). It is noted a bus stop currently located between the existing crossovers on the subject site will need to be repositioned slightly. The proposed accesses on Eumundi Noosa Road have been assessed against the design criterion of: The Noosa Shire Council Business Use Code: Service Station; and AS2890.1:2004 – Parking Facilities Part 1: Off Street Car Parking2. Table 3-1 summarises the assessment of the accesses against the noted code and standard. As indicated within Table 3-1, the design of the proposed accesses along Eumundi Noosa Road generally complies with, or provides acceptable solutions to, the NSC Planning Scheme and relevant Australian Standards.
