Subject: Application submission no mcu18/0157 From: mikey boy Date: 2019-04-09T05:44:10+00:00 To: Mailbox Council Mail External sender. Be careful with links and attachments. To whom it may concern It has come to my attention that there are some problems with this change of use application. 1. As the current lease holder of this land proposed for change, I have been given no notice from anyone? 2. The plan has a false representation of space as this plan would be impossible to park 9 vehicles in the space proposed an inspection is welcome. 3. The change could Also be putting me in breach of use as the land is currently used for industrial uses boat and vehicle repairs . 4. The Brewery has been serving drinks at a party 2 weeks ago without a liquor licence a serious matter I believe . 5. Parking has become a huge problem in the street since the opening of another unproved business call Thomas surf boards . 6. Giving approval for this brewery business will be Detrimental to other long term businesses in the street as customers cannot park already . 7. Council has a duty of care to existing businesses in the street as to volume of traffic and parking facilities. 8. The brewery is already cooking hops the smell is toxic affecting surrounding businesses and customers There appears to be no chimney stack for the fumes . 9. Due to the lack of respect for the process why is this proposal even been considered after spending 18 months building with no permits put in place ? 10. Due to the location of the building being very close to a busy main road and on the intersection venture drive and project avenue visibility for vehicles is already compromised due to high volume of parked vehicles with more vehicle this will be a public safety issue for pedestrians especially at night . 11. The environmental impact also could be detrimental to the as there is not a waste management disposal proposal in place for the large volume of live yeast extract which could end up in the sewage system . 12. Also surrounding businesses have expressed concern with the unregulated high pressure vessels used in the industry for brewing and are these regulated and certified and complied to Australian standards . Regards Mike concerned businesses owner
